Product Owner Accountability¶
The Product Owner (PO) is accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the Scrum Team. The Product Owner is also accountable for the Product Goal and Product Backlog management.
Responsibilities¶

Managing the Product Backlog:
Creating, prioritizing, and clearly expressing Product Backlog items to ensure the team works on the most valuable features first. -
Stakeholder Engagement:
Acting as the primary liaison between stakeholders, customers, and the Scrum Team to gather feedback and align priorities. -
Vision & Strategy:
Defining the Product Goal and product vision and ensuring it is understood by the team. -
Release Management:
Making decisions about product releases and ensuring that increments delivered meet customer needs.
